The Institute for Entrepreneurship serves as an access point to several types of university resources and services for entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs. The Institute is dedicated to improving the economic environment in Michigan, and entrepreneurs and small businesses play an important role in this revitalization. We offer resources to meet a variety of business needs and opportunities.

The Institute offers two distinct ways for entrepreneurs and small businesses to utilize the services and resources available at the Institute. Businesses with a specific 3-4 month project can apply to become “course–clients.” for our entrepreneurship capstone courses.
Businesses with less-defined or longer-term projects can arrange to create faculty-student project teams or internship opportunities.
